From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: Ready for use after installation
- Clean with Lithofin EASY-CARE diluted in water
- Most quartz composite comes pre-sealed from the factory
- Check manufacturer recommendations - additional sealing usually not required
Products needed: Lithofin EASY-CARE
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily
- Wipe with damp cloth and Lithofin MN Easy-Clean spray or EASY-CARE
- Clean spills promptly (although quartz is quite stain-resistant)

Do NOT:
- Do not use strong acid or alkali cleaners
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
- Do not place extremely hot pans directly on surface (resin can be damaged above 150°C)
- Do not use bleach
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 3-6 months
- Lithofin MN Power-Clean diluted 1:10 (mild alkaline is safe)
- Apply, wipe, rinse

Protection & Sealing
Re-seal every: Usually not required - consult manufacturer
- If the surface has lost its water repellency, a light application of Lithofin Stainstop PLUS can be considered
- Always check manufacturer guidelines first

Troubleshooting
Stubborn stains (turmeric, hair dye)
Lithofin MN Power-Clean undiluted as a paste. Leave 10-15 minutes, wipe clean.
Dull spot from heat damage
If resin is damaged by heat, professional repair may be needed. Light dulling: try MN Power-Clean to remove residue.
Hard water marks
Lithofin KF Ceramic-Clean (mild acid) - safe for most quartz composite. Test first.
