Greyed-out plastic turns bright again in under a minute

Your white garden chairs have turned grey with airborne grime and sunscreen stains. Roller-shutter slats show black streaks you cannot remove with dish soap. Plastic Cleaner 305 cuts through this build-up in seconds, leaving the surface ready to use immediately.

What Plastic Cleaner Does

Plastic Cleaner is a mildly alkaline cleaner for plastic, vinyl, and rubber parts. With a pH of 9.2 it loosens electrostatically bound dirt and light oil films without attacking sensitive pigments. Surfactants at 2 % concentration break the surface tension so the dissolved soil wipes away in one pass.

When to Use

  • Patio furniture in spring clean-up - use neat, 1 spray per 30 cm²; see general cleaning
  • UPVC window frames inside bathrooms - use neat, 1 spray per linear metre
  • Porcelain planters with water marks - use neat, wait 1 min
  • Painted roller shutters and garage gates - use neat, 1 spray per 25 cm²
  • Fitness equipment grips (rubber) - use neat, wipe twice for sweat residue

How to Apply

  1. Shake the bottle, set the nozzle to fine mist, and spray a closed film on the surface.
  2. Distribute with a soft microfiber cloth, applying light pressure. Time: 1 minute.
  3. Wipe with the clean side of the cloth until no residue remains.
  4. For stubborn spots, repeat immediately; no dwell time needed.

Average consumption is 100 ml / m², giving roughly 20 m² per 2 L bottle. Surface is dry to the touch as soon as you finish wiping.

Surface Compatibility

The formula works excellently on plastics and on acid-resistant hard materials such as ceramic (Mohs 5), porcelain (Mohs 7), and glass-mosaic (Mohs 6) because the mild pH avoids etching while the low-foaming surfactants rinse completely from low-porosity surfaces. Do not use on coated substrates specifically labelled “sensitive to cleaning agents”.

Choosing the Right Product

For plastic and painted elements, use Plastic Cleaner. For deep degreasing on natural stone floors, use MN Power-Clean at 1:5 dilution. Pair both products during seasonal general-cleaning sessions for the fastest workflow.

Pro Tips

  • Work in shade; heat above 30 °C accelerates evaporation by 40 %, reducing contact time.
  • Keep two cloths: one for spreading, one for pickup-prevents redepositing dirt and cuts labour time by 25 %.
  • Rinse cloths in warm water every 5 m²; saturated fibres lose 60 % absorption capacity.

Frequently asked questions

Can Plastic Cleaner be used on coloured PVC windows?

Yes. pH 9.2 is below the threshold that attacks PVC pigments. Test a hidden spot first.

Is Plastic Cleaner safe on porcelain planters?

Porcelain Mohs 7 is acid-resistant; the mild alkaline formula cleans without scratching.

How often should I reapply Plastic Cleaner on garden furniture?

Apply monthly during pollen season or after visible soiling. No build-up forms, so repeat as needed.

Will Plastic Cleaner leave streaks on glass-mosaic backsplashes?

No. Low-foaming agents rinse clear; wipe until dry for a streak-free finish.
