Eliminación de Manchas de Aceite - Enfoque Gradual

Para eliminar manchas de aceite y grasa de superficies de piedra natural. El método depende de la antigüedad y profundidad de la mancha.

Treatment Variants

Fresh oil stain (less than 24 hours old)

1. Lithofin OIL-EX — Blot excess oil with kitchen paper — do NOT wipe (wiping spreads the oil). Apply OIL-EX directly onto the stain. Leave for 15 minutes.

2. Lithofin OIL-EX — Remove dissolved oil residue with clean kitchen paper. If a shadow remains, apply a second dose for 15 minutes. Rinse with clean water.

Old oil stain (more than 24 hours, up to weeks)

1. Lithofin OIL-EX — Apply OIL-EX generously to the stain. Saturate kitchen paper or cotton wool with OIL-EX and press firmly onto the stain. Cover with cling film to prevent evaporation. Leave for 2-24 hours depending on severity.
   Dilution: undiluted · Wait: 2-24 hours
2. Lithofin OIL-EX — Remove poultice. Check if stain has lightened. If visible oil remains, repeat the poultice with fresh OIL-EX — old stains often need 2-3 applications.

3. Lithofin MN Limpiador Potente — After oil extraction is complete, clean the treated area with diluted Power-Clean to remove any residual haze. Scrub lightly with nylon brush, rinse thoroughly.
   Dilution: 1:10 · Wait: 5 minutes

Deep-set oil stain (months old, deeply penetrated)

1. Lithofin OIL-EX — Apply OIL-EX as poultice: saturate cotton wool, press firmly, cover with cling film. Leave 24 hours. Remove and let stone dry 4-8 hours.
   Dilution: undiluted · Wait: 24 hours + 4-8 hours drying
2. Lithofin OIL-EX — Apply second poultice, rotated 90 degrees from the first (oil migrates along crystal grain — changing direction catches different pathways). Leave 24 hours.
   Dilution: undiluted · Wait: 24 hours
3. Lithofin OIL-EX — Third application if needed. Deep stains may require up to 4 applications. Each round extracts more oil from the pores. Stop when no further improvement is visible between applications.

4. Lithofin MN Limpiador Potente — Final deep clean of treated area. Dilute 1:5 for heavy residue. Scrub with nylon brush, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Allow to dry 24 hours.
   Dilution: 1:5 · Wait: 10 minutes dwell, 24 hours drying

Oil on highly porous stone (sandstone, limestone, concrete)

1. Clean water — Pre-wet the area AROUND the stain (not the stain itself) with clean water. This prevents the oil from spreading further into dry stone during treatment. The wet barrier stops capillary migration.
   Wait: 5 minutes to absorb
2. Lithofin OIL-EX — Apply OIL-EX as poultice to the stain area. On porous stone, oil often spreads wider than the visible stain — treat an area 10-15cm larger than visible discoloration. Cover with cling film, leave 12-24 hours.

3. Lithofin OIL-EX — Repeat poultice if needed. Porous stone often needs 2-3 rounds. Between rounds, let stone dry completely (8-12 hours) so you can assess progress accurately — wet stone always looks darker.

4. Lithofin MN Fleckstop — After successful oil removal, seal the entire surface with Stain-Stop to prevent future oil penetration. On porous stone, two coats are recommended: apply first coat, wait 15 minutes, apply second coat wet-on-wet.

Tips

• Las manchas frescas son mucho más fáciles de eliminar - actúe dentro de la primera hora si es posible.
• Nunca use agua en una mancha de aceite fresca - el agua empuja el aceite más profundamente en la piedra.
• El método de cataplasma funciona por acción capilar: el solvente disuelve el aceite y el material absorbente lo extrae al secarse.
• Entre aplicaciones, deje que la piedra se seque completamente - no puede evaluar la profundidad de la mancha en piedra mojada.
• En piedra oscura, una mancha de aceite eliminada puede dejar un parche más claro. Aplique Intensificador de Color para mezclar.

⚠️ Warnings

• En mármol y piedra caliza: use MN Wash & Clean en lugar de Power-Clean para la limpieza final (sensibilidad al ácido).
• OIL-EX es a base de solventes: asegure una buena ventilación, no llamas abiertas, use guantes.
• No use OIL-EX en superficies unidas con resina (algunos terrazo, compuesto de cuarzo) - pruebe primero en un lugar oculto.
• Elimine la fuente de contaminación de aceite antes del tratamiento - de lo contrario, la mancha volverá.

Expected Result

Mancha de aceite extraída de los poros de la piedra. Superficie limpia y lista para un nuevo sellado.
