Quartzite Kitchen countertop - Complete Care Guide
From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: Immediately after installation
- Verify the authenticity of your quartzite with the vinegar test - apply a small amount of vinegar and check for no reaction.
- Clean the surface with Lithofin MN Power-Clean, diluted 1:10 with water, to remove any residues from installation.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Apply Lithofin MN Stain-Stop evenly with a clean cloth, ensuring full coverage.
- Allow the impregnator to penetrate for about 15 minutes, then wipe off any excess.
- After 24 hours, the surface will be fully protected and ready for use.

Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily or after each use
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth using Lithofin MN Easy-Clean.
- For stubborn spots, use Lithofin MN Wash & Clean, diluted 1:20 with water.
- Dry the surface with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.

Do NOT:
- Never use abrasive pads or powders.
- Never leave acidic substances like lemon juice on the surface.
- Never use wax or polish on quartzite.
- Never cut directly on the countertop to avoid scratches.
- Never place hot pots directly on the surface.
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 6 months
- Clear the countertop of all items.
- Apply Lithofin MN Power-Clean, diluted 1:5 with water, to the surface.
- Allow the cleaner to dwell for 10 minutes, then scrub gently with a soft brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
