What Wash & Clean Does
Wash & Clean is a pH-neutral maintenance cleaner for all natural stone. Non-ionic surfactants lift grease, soap, and street dirt without breaking down calcium-no risk for Mohs-3 marble. The 1:250 concentrate leaves an invisible care component that enhances colour and slows re-soiling for up to 48 hours.
When to Use
- Polished marble entrance halls - dilute 2 capfuls/5 L for 150 m² coverage.
- Rough granite kitchen floors - 2 capfuls/5 L remove grease films, 100 m²/L.
- Limestone vanity tops in bathrooms - 1 capful/5 L for light soap residue, 200 m²/L.
- Quartz-composite worktops - wipe with 1 capful/5 L, no rinse, excellent gloss retention.
- Daily-maintenance on mixed stone areas - 1-2 capfuls/5 L keeps grout joints bright.
How to Apply
- Fill a clean bucket with 5 L warm water and add 1-2 capfuls (20-40 ml) concentrate.
- Soak a microfiber mop, wring until damp-not dripping.
- Work in 10 m² sections, rinsing the mop regularly in the same solution.
- Allow the surface to air-dry; do not rinse.
Coverage: 100-200 m² per litre of concentrate, equal to 50-100 buckets. Floor is walkable as soon as it is dry-usually under 10 minutes at 20 °C.
Surface Compatibility
The neutral pH 7 formula will not etch acid-sensitive stones such as limestone, bluestone, or terrazzo. Low-foam surfactants rinse off fully, so pores in high-porosity sandstone stay open. Safe on hard stones like basalt and slate, and acceptable on porcelain or ceramic, though KF Conditioning Cleaner is optimised for those. No restricted surfaces.
Choosing the Right Product
For intensive restoration of oily or waxy build-up, switch to MN Power-Clean at 1:5. For long-term stain resistance, seal with MN Stain-Stop after deep cleaning. Use Wash & Clean afterwards to preserve both finishes.
