Terracotta Interior flooring - Complete Care Guide
From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: Within 1 week of installation, after grout has cured.
- Clean the new terracotta surface with Lithofin TC Easy-Clean to remove any installation residues.
- Allow the surface to dry completely (24-48 hours).
- Apply Lithofin TC Impregnator evenly with a soft cloth or sponge.
- Remove any excess product after 10-15 minutes.
- Allow 24 hours to cure before using the floor.
Products needed: Lithofin TC Easy-Clean, Lithofin TC Impregnator
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily or after each use
- Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove dust and debris.
- Mop the surface with a solution of Lithofin TC Easy-Clean diluted in water.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
- Dry the surface after cleaning to avoid water marks.

Do NOT:
- Never use vinegar or lemon-based cleaners.
- Never use abrasive sponges or steel wool.
- Never use bleach or chlorine-based cleaners.
- Avoid dragging heavy furniture across the surface.
- Do not leave standing water on the floor.
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 1-3 months
- Apply Lithofin TC Easy-Clean diluted 1:5 with a mop.
- Leave the solution on the surface for 5-10 minutes.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush if necessary.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry with a soft cloth or allow to air dry.

Protection & Sealing
Re-seal every: Every 1-2 years
- Deep clean the surface first using Lithofin TC Easy-Clean.
- Allow the surface to dry completely (24-48 hours).
- Apply Lithofin TC Impregnator evenly across the surface.
- Allow to cure for 24 hours before normal use.
