Lithofin KF HyClean for Ceramic Countertops
Art. 129-21-EU
Your ceramic hob shows greasy fingerprints and dried sauce splashes after every meal. Kitchen worktops collect oil mist and coffee rings. Hyclean ends this build-up in one pass, leaving the surface food-safe and streak-free.
What Hyclean Does
Hyclean is a neutral cleaner for glazed ceramic and porcelain surfaces. The pH 9.5 solution breaks the bond between fats, sugars and the low-porosity surface within 60 seconds, so you wipe them away rather than spread them. A quaternary ammonium compound at 0.25 % inhibits 99.9 % of common kitchen bacteria in 5 minutes while leaving no visible film.
When to Use
- Daily wipe-down of a ceramic hob - spray undiluted (1 : 1) to remove cooking grease.
- Degreasing a porcelain sink after raw meat prep - spray undiluted (1 : 1) for 5 minutes contact time.
- Refreshing a ceramic splashback with dried tomato sauce - spray undiluted (1 : 1) and loosen residue with a microfiber pad.
- General cleaning of large polished-porcelain tiles - mist 40 ml/m² (1 : 1) and wipe with a flat mop.
How to Apply
- Hold the trigger 20 cm from the surface and spray an even film (≈40 ml/m²).
- Leave Hyclean to act for exactly 5 minutes; keep the area wet.
- Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth, working in overlapping circles.
- Rinse the cloth under warm water and give the surface a final pass.
One litre treats 30-35 m², enough for 120 standard kitchen worktop cleanings. No drying time is needed; you can place food directly once the surface feels touch-dry.
Surface Compatibility
Use Hyclean on ceramic tiles, fine-porcelain slabs and vitrified mosaics. The neutral pH avoids etching, and the low 0.4 % solvent content will not soften factory sealants. Do not use on acid-sensitive natural stone or unsealed wood.
Choosing the Right Product
For heavy lime scale on taps, use Lithofin KF Bathroom Cleaner. For deep grease in grout joints, switch to Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner. Hyclean covers the everyday wipe-down between those two tasks.
Pro Tips
- Warm the surface to 30 °C by running hot water first; the cleaner works 20 % faster.
- Use two cloths: one for the first wipe, one for the rinse, to avoid redepositing oils.
- Switch nozzles to the fine-mist setting on vertical splashbacks; runoff drops by 60 %.

Frequently asked questions
Can Hyclean be left on porcelain overnight?
No. Five minutes is the maximum contact time. Longer exposure offers no extra cleaning benefit.
Is Hyclean safe on ceramic tiles with epoxy grout?
Yes. The neutral pH will not soften epoxy; laboratory testing showed zero colour change after 24 hours.
How often should I use Hyclean on a kitchen countertop?
Daily use is fine. The low 0.4 % solvent load leaves no residue even with 365 applications per year.
Does Hyclean kill bacteria?
It reduces 99.9 % of E. coli and S. aureus when kept wet for 5 minutes, verified per EN 1276.
