Cement Tiles Bathroom floor - Complete Care Guide
From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: Immediately after installation
- Clean the tiles with Lithofin WEXA diluted 1:10 with water to remove any residues.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the surface to dry completely.
- Apply Lithofin MN Stain-Stop evenly with a brush or roller, ensuring full coverage.
- Allow the impregnator to penetrate for 20 minutes, then wipe off any excess.
- Let the first coat dry for at least 24 hours before applying a second coat.
- Repeat the application for a third coat if necessary, ensuring each coat dries fully.
Products needed: Lithofin WEXA, Lithofin MN Stain-Stop
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily or after each use
- Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Mop the surface with a solution of Lithofin MN Wash & Clean diluted 1:30 with water.
- Dry the floor with a clean, soft cloth to prevent water spots.

Do NOT:
- Never use acidic cleaners or vinegar.
- Never allow water to pool on the surface.
- Never use abrasive pads or brushes.
- Never apply wax or polish.
- Never leave spills unattended.
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 3-4 months
- Dilute Lithofin WEXA 1:5 with water for a deeper clean.
- Apply the solution to the floor and let it dwell for 10 minutes.
- Scrub the surface gently with a soft brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
