From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: After grout curing (5-7 days)
- Remove cement haze carefully with Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover diluted 1:5
- Test on small area first
- Rinse thoroughly
- Apply Lithofin KF Grout Protector to grout lines only (glass doesn't absorb)
Products needed: Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover, Lithofin KF Grout Protector
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: After each shower use
- Squeegee glass mosaic walls after showering
- Weekly cleaning with Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner
Products: Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner
Do NOT:
- Avoid abrasive pads (can scratch glass surface)
- Do not use strong undiluted cleaners without testing
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Monthly in shower areas
- Lithofin KF Ceramic-Clean diluted 1:5 for limescale
- Lithofin KF Grout Cleaner for discoloured grout
- Rinse thoroughly

Protection & Sealing
Re-seal every: Every 1-2 years for grout lines
- Clean grout thoroughly
- Re-apply Lithofin KF Grout Protector

Troubleshooting
Limescale on glass tiles
Lithofin KF Ceramic-Clean diluted 1:5. Glass is acid-resistant but always dilute to protect grout.
Mould in grout
Lithofin KF Mildew-Away on grout lines only. Improve ventilation.
Loose tiles
Not a cleaning issue - re-adhere with appropriate adhesive. Consult tiler.
