Lithofin P&L Care Cleaner
Art. 304-11-B
Your living-room parquet shows shoe marks and dull patches even after vacuuming. Daily wiping leaves streaks and the floor loses its warm sheen. P&L Care Cleaner solves the problem in one mop step, keeping wood and laminate fresh without rinsing.
What Care Cleaner Does
Care Cleaner is a pH-neutral (pH 7.5) maintenance cleaner for parquet, laminate, and sealed wood. Non-ionic surfactants lift grease, dust, and light heel marks at dilutions up to 1:500, then evaporate without forming residue. The 0.4 % solids content preserves the factory finish, so your floor keeps its gloss after every wipe.
When to Use
- Living-room parquet with daily foot traffic - dilute 1:500; see daily maintenance guide.
- Kitchen laminate splashed with cooking grease - dilute 1:250.
- High-gloss wooden stairs that show scuffs - dilute 1:250; link to problem page for tips.
- Entrance area ceramic tiles after muddy weather - dilute 1:100.
- Restoring shine on rough granite window sills - dilute 1:250; read why frequent care matters.
How to Apply
- Fill bucket with 10 L warm water and add cleaner: 20 ml (light), 40 ml (medium), or 100 ml (heavy).
- Soak a flat mop, wring until damp, and wipe the floor in overlapping strokes. Time: 5 min per 20 m².
- Do not rinse. Allow the thin film to dry; footprints disappear in under 3 min.
Coverage: 50 m²/L on polished marble, 40 m²/L on rough granite, 30 m²/L on ceramic tile. Reapply whenever the surface looks dull; no curing time required.
Surface Compatibility
The neutral formula will not swell parquet, cloud laminate coatings, or etch acid-sensitive marble surfaces. It also works on sealed cork and vinyl. Do not use on raw, unsealed wood or any surface that must stay completely dry.
Choosing the Right Product
For first-time cleaning of new floors, use Lithofin PL Floor Care, then switch to Care Cleaner for routine wipes. When the finish needs extra gloss or minor scratch filling, apply Lithofin PL Polish after cleaning.
Pro Tips
- Use two buckets-one for detergent, one for wringing-to keep soil from redepositing; this extends gloss by 30 %.
- Change mop water after 40 m²; spent solution loses up to 60 % cleaning power.
- Add warm, not hot, water: 30 °C boosts surfactant activity without accelerating evaporation.
