Quartzite Outdoor terrace - Complete Care Guide
From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: Immediately after installation
- Verify genuine quartzite with the vinegar test - no reaction means real quartzite.
- Thoroughly clean the surface with Lithofin MN Power-Clean, diluted 1:10 with water. Allow to dwell for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the surface with clean water and allow it to dry completely.
- Apply Lithofin MN Stain-Stop evenly using a clean cloth or roller, ensuring full coverage.
- Allow the impregnator to penetrate for 15 minutes, then wipe off any excess.
- Let the surface cure for 24 hours before use.

Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily or after each use
- Sweep the terrace to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean with Lithofin MN Wash & Clean, diluted 1:20 with water.
- Rinse with clean water and allow to air dry.

Do NOT:
- Never use wax or oil-based cleaners.
- Never use abrasive pads or brushes.
- Never allow acidic substances to sit on the surface.
- Never use high-pressure washers directly on the stone.
- Never use bleach or ammonia-based cleaners.
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 6 months
- Clear the area of furniture and other items.
- Apply Lithofin MN Power-Clean, diluted 1:5 with water, to the surface.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush, focusing on stained areas.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let dry.
- Inspect for any stains or damage and address as needed.
