Stubborn dirt on hard stone? Abra-CLEAN scrubs it off in minutes.

Your polished kitchen granite darkens under built-up grease, and the porcelain hallway tiles hold scuff marks that daily mopping ignores. Abra-CLEAN from the PRO line cuts through that stubborn layer in minutes, restoring the original colour and slip resistance on hard stone and ceramic surfaces.

What Abra-CLEAN Does

Abra-CLEAN is a mildly alkaline cleaner (pH 7.5) with micro-abrasive particles for hard stone and ceramic. The 6 Mohs abrasive powder lifts ingrained dirt mechanically while the alkaline surfactants dissolve oils and soap films. Together they dislodge deposits that standard neutral cleaners leave behind, yet remain safe for acid-resistant substrates.

When to Use

  • Grease-soaked granite worktops - use undiluted, 30 ml/m².
  • Traffic lanes on rough ceramic factory floors - 1 : 5 (200 ml/L) for heavy soil.
  • Scuff removal on glazed porcelain lobby tiles - 1 : 10 (100 ml/L).
  • Post-renovation dust on kitchen ceramic splashbacks - 1 : 20 (50 ml/L).
  • Annual general cleaning of exterior granite steps - use undiluted, scrub and rinse.

How to Apply

  1. Shake the bottle, then dilute as required in a plastic bucket.
  2. Spread with a white pad, sponge, or scrubbing machine, wetting 2 m² at a time.
  3. Work the surface for 2-3 minutes until the slurry turns grey.
  4. Rinse twice with clear water or wet-vac extract; wipe dry.

Covers 5-20 m² per litre depending on porosity. No drying time-areas are ready for use immediately after the final rinse.

Surface Compatibility

On dense granite, 7 Mohs hardness resists the 6 Mohs abrasive, so no scratching occurs. Porcelain and ceramic tiles share similar hardness and acid resistance, letting the alkaline formula clean without etching. Do not use on soft, glossy plastics or lacquered wood that can scratch.

Choosing the Right Product

For routine maintenance after deep cleaning, use Lithofin PRO Care (pH 8, gentle surfactants). For long-term stain repellence on worktops, apply Lithofin PRO Protect after the surface is perfectly clean.

Pro Tips

  • Pre-wet highly porous stone to reduce product consumption by up to 30 %.
  • Use a melamine pad on porcelain; its finer structure increases contact time and improves removal of heel marks.
  • Neutralise rinsing water to pH 7 before discharge to protect stainless floor drains.

Frequently asked questions

Can Abra-CLEAN scratch polished granite?

No. Granite is Mohs 7 while the abrasive is Mohs 6, so the powder cannot cut the surface.

What dilution of Abra-CLEAN do I use on porcelain tiles?

Start at 1 : 10 (100 ml per litre). For heavy heel marks you can use it undiluted.

How large an area does 1 L of Abra-CLEAN cover?

Between 5 m² on rough stone and 20 m² on polished surfaces, depending on porosity.

Is Abra-CLEAN safe for daily cleaning of ceramic floors?

Yes at 1 : 20; the mild alkalinity will not affect glazes and leaves no slippery film.
