Efflorescence - Microcement
Professional advice and the right Lithofin products for your microcement
HighEfflorescence is the white, powdery, crystalline deposit that appears on stone, brick, and concrete surfaces. It occurs when water migrates through the material, dissolves soluble salts, and carries them to the surface where the water evaporates, leaving the salt crystals behind. Primary efflorescence occurs during the first few months after installation, as construction moisture evaporates from fresh mortar, grout, or concrete.
