Microcement Bathroom floor and walls - Complete Care Guide
From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: After installation and before the first use
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying any products.
- Apply Lithofin MN Stain-Stop evenly on the surface using a clean cloth.
- Allow the product to penetrate for about 15 minutes, then wipe off any excess.
- Buff the surface gently with a soft cloth to enhance the finish.
- Ensure proper ventilation during application and drying.
- Let the surface cure for 24 hours before use.
Products needed: Lithofin MN Stain-Stop
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Daily or after each use
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth to remove water and prevent limescale.
- Clean with a diluted solution of Lithofin MN Wash & Clean (1:20 ratio).
- Dry the surface with a soft towel to maintain the topcoat.
Products: Lithofin MN Wash & Clean
Do NOT:
- Never use acidic cleaners, even if the topcoat seems intact.
- Never use abrasive pads or cleaners that could scratch the surface.
- Avoid leaving standing water on the surface.
- Do not drag heavy objects or furniture across the floor.
- Never use wax-based products that can alter the finish.
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 6 months
- Dilute Lithofin WEXA 1:10 with water.
- Apply the solution generously and allow it to dwell for 10 minutes.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush to lift dirt and grime.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry the surface completely.
