From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: After grout curing (3-5 days)
- Remove cement haze with Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover diluted 1:3 to 1:5
- Rinse thoroughly
- For unglazed/textured porcelain: apply Lithofin KF Protective Impregnator
Products needed: Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover, Lithofin KF Protective Impregnator
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Weekly
- Sweep or vacuum to remove grit
- Mop with Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner diluted in water
Products: Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner
Do NOT:
- Avoid supermarket floor cleaners that leave waxy residue
- Do not use oil-based cleaners
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 6-12 months
- Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:10
- Apply, leave 5 minutes, scrub, rinse

Protection & Sealing
Re-seal every: Every 3-5 years for unglazed; grout: every 2-3 years
- Clean tiles and grout
- Apply KF Protective Impregnator to unglazed tiles
- Apply KF Grout Protector to grout lines

Troubleshooting
Hazy appearance after mopping
Product build-up from wrong cleaner. Deep clean with KF Intensive Cleaner undiluted to strip residue. Switch to KF Conditioning Cleaner for daily use.
Dirt trapped in textured surface
Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner with scrubbing brush. Seal with KF Protective Impregnator afterwards.
