Stubborn outdoor grime meets 1:5 alkaline punch — clean, rinse, done.

Your outdoor porcelain patio collects greasy barbecue splatters, traffic film, and winter algae in one grimy layer. Inside, the kitchen’s honed limestone floor shows dark oil spots after every family dinner. Universal Actiefreiniger cuts through that embedded dirt in 10 minutes, restoring both areas to a uniform, slip-safe finish.

What Actiefreiniger Does

Actiefreiniger is an alkaline cleaner for all mineral and ceramic surfaces. At pH 10.5 it breaks the electrical bond between fats, soap scum, and the stone lattice, lifting residue that neutral soaps leave behind. Surfactants with a 3 % concentration encapsulate loosened dirt so you rinse everything away without redeposition.

When to Use

  • Oil-stained granite worktops - spray neat, leave 5 min.
  • Weather-blackened outdoor ceramic tiles - dilute 1 : 5 in warm water.
  • Greasy restaurant slate kitchen floor - mop with 1 : 10 solution.
  • After building dust on new concrete pavers - scrub with 1 : 3 mix.
  • Periodic deep clean before sealing with Universal Stain-Stop - use full strength.

How to Apply

  1. Pre-wet surface with clean water to reduce absorption - 2 L per m² (PT1M).
  2. Apply Actiefreiniger by sprayer or mop at selected dilution - 100 ml per m² (PT2M).
  3. Agitate with white pad or deck brush; keep wet for 5 minutes (PT5M).
  4. Rinse twice with clean water until runoff is clear (PT2M).

Average coverage is 10-20 m² /L depending on porosity. No drying time: you rinse immediately, the surface is traffic-ready as soon as water evaporates, usually within 15 minutes at 20 °C.

Surface Compatibility

The alkaline formula will not etch acid-sensitive marble or limestone because it contains no free acids; it excels on dense stones such as basalt (Mohs 7) and porcelain (water absorption < 0.5 %). High wetting agents penetrate high-porosity sandstone pores, carrying dirt out. Do not use on polished aluminium or lacquered wood.

Choosing the Right Product

For long-term stain resistance after cleaning, use Universal Stain-Stop. For routine weekly maintenance, switch to Universal Wash & Clean at 20 ml per 10 L.

Pro Tips

  • Work in 5 m² sections; controlled dwell avoids drying streaks.
  • Boost action on porous sandstone by covering with plastic film during dwell to keep solution active longer.
  • Use warm (40 °C) dilution to cut grease 30 % faster in commercial kitchens.

Frequently asked questions

Can Actiefreiniger be used on polished marble?

Yes, pH 10.5 is non-etching. Test a 10×10 cm spot first and rinse after 5 minutes.

What coverage do I get on rough granite?

Expect 10 m² /L on flamed granite; lower porosity stones reach 20 m² /L.

Does Actiefreiniger remove algae on outdoor ceramic tile?

Yes, a 1 : 3 mix loosens biological growth within 10 minutes; follow with pressure rinse.

Is Actiefreiniger safe for quartz composite sinks?

Safe at 1 : 10 dilution. Rinse thoroughly to avoid film buildup.
