Soap residue, water marks, dull stone — one spray restores shine

Your bathroom tiles look dull, chrome taps show water marks, and stone shelves collect soap residue every day. Universal Badreiniger cuts through those calcium-rich deposits in minutes, letting you reset the whole room without harsh scrubbing.

What Universal Badreiniger Does

Universal Badreiniger is a mildly alkaline cleaner for bathroom stone, ceramic, glass, enamel, and metal fixtures. At pH 9.5 it breaks the bond between fatty soap scum, light limescale, and surface tension so dirt lifts on contact. Non-aggressive surfactants suspend the loosened grime until you wipe it away, leaving no film and no need for neutralising rinses on most substrates.

When to Use

  • Polished vanity tops in marble: ready-to-use 1:0 for daily wipe-down.
  • Rough shower floors in granite: ready-to-use 1:0 after each shower.
  • Wall cladding in ceramic tiles: ready-to-use 1:0 twice weekly.
  • Glazed porcelain sinks showing toothpaste haze: ready-to-use 1:0 on demand.
  • Daily-maintenance touch-ups: ready-to-use 1:0, then follow the guide at daily maintenance.

How to Apply

  1. Hold the trigger 15 cm from the surface and spray a uniform film (≈10 ml/m²).
  2. Wait 60-120 seconds for the alkaline agents to loosen residues.
  3. Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth or sponge, applying light pressure.
  4. Rinse with clear water on food-contact or high-polish stone; towel-dry fixtures for streak-free shine.

One 500 ml bottle covers 50 m²; a full litre cleans 100 m². The surface is dry immediately; no curing time.

Surface Compatibility

The formula is safe on acid-sensitive stones because its pH stays below the etch threshold while remaining strong enough to cut bath grime. You can use it confidently on slate, basalt, granite, porcelain, and ceramic tiles. It also works on medium-porosity stones such as marble and limestone-test first. Do not use on freshly waxed cotto or other coatings sensitive to alkaline products.

Choosing the Right Product

For heavy mineral crusts or builder’s dirt, step up to MN Power-Clean. For long-term stain protection after cleaning porous stone, seal with MN Stain-Stop.

Pro Tips

  • Pre-heat shower walls with warm water; the 40 °C surface temperature speeds chemical activity by about 20 %.
  • Buff polished chrome dry; any remaining micro-film evaporates, preventing drip marks for up to 48 hours.
  • Include Universal Badreiniger in a weekly general cleaning cycle to maintain sealer performance.

Frequently asked questions

Can Universal Badreiniger be used on polished marble vanity tops?

Yes. Spray 10 ml/m², wipe, then rinse. The pH 9.5 formula will not etch, but always test first on marble.

Will Universal Badreiniger remove heavy limescale on granite shower floors?

It handles light deposits. For >1 mm scale use MN Power-Clean 1:5, then resume Universal Badreiniger for routine care.

Does Universal Badreiniger leave a residue on ceramic tiles?

No. Surfactants rinse free; coverage 50 m² per 500 ml ensures thin application that dries streak-free.

Is Universal Badreiniger safe on chrome mixers and taps?

Yes. The mild alkaline blend will not tarnish chrome. Spray, wait 60 s, wipe, and buff dry.
