Greasy, cloudy tiles? KF Intensive Cleaner strips build-up in one pass.

Your kitchen porcelain floor shows greasy traffic lanes, and the grout in your shower traps soap scum that regular detergent cannot shift. KF Intensive Cleaner (article 180) breaks down this build-up within minutes, restoring the tile’s original slip resistance and colour.

What KF Intensive Cleaner Does

KF Intensive Cleaner is an alkaline cleaner for ceramic, porcelain, cotto, and clinker. With a pH of 11.3, strong surfactants cut polymer wax, grease, and micro-grime that lodge in pores smaller than 0.2 µm. At 1:5 dilution it removes stubborn fat films; at 1:20 it lifts everyday residue without harming grout lines.

When to Use

How to Apply

  1. Prepare solution: pour water first, then add the cleaner to reach 1:5-1:20, or use neat on heavy wax.
  2. Distribute with a mop, sponge, or scrubbing machine, keeping surface wet for 5-10 min.
  3. Agitate with white pad or scrubber until the slurry darkens.
  4. Vacuum or mop up, rinse twice with clear water.

Coverage: 5-20 m²/L depending on dilution. No drying time; floor is walkable after final rinse.

Surface Compatibility

The alkaline formula will not etch acid-sensitive stones, yet it excels on dense tiles. Excellent results on porcelain, ceramic, cotto, and clinker. Good on marble, limestone, and other calcareous stones because the pH stays below 12, but marble users often prefer MN Power-Clean. Do not use on rare surfaces expressly labelled “alkali-sensitive”.

Choosing the Right Product

For daily wipe care use KF Conditioning Cleaner. For long-term stain protection after deep cleaning, apply KF Protective Impregnator. Choose MN Power-Clean for acid-sensitive natural stone that needs stronger chelation.

Pro Tips

  • Warm (35 °C) solution speeds soil release by 20 %-ideal in winter.
  • Pre-wet very porous cotto so the cleaner stays on the surface and works evenly.
  • Always rinse twice; leaving alkaline residue can attract dirt 30 % faster.

Frequently asked questions

How do I dilute KF Intensive Cleaner correctly?

Mix 1 part cleaner with 5-20 parts water. Always add product to water, not the reverse, to avoid splashing.

How much KF Intensive Cleaner will I need for 40 m² of porcelain?

At 10 m²/L a 4 L application is sufficient; one 1-L bottle covers 8-20 m² depending on soil level.

When should I use MN Power-Clean instead of KF Intensive Cleaner on marble?

Choose MN Power-Clean for marble because its solvent boosters lift oil without raising pH above 10, reducing etch risk.

Why do my unglazed porcelain tiles look dull after mopping?

Micro-pores trap detergent residue. A 1:10 wash with KF Intensive Cleaner dissolves this film within 10 minutes.
