Lithofin LEV
Art. 342-11-B
Epoxy smears on newly laid granite tiles slow down your installer, and oily handprints threaten the bond of the upcoming sealer. LEV removes every trace of grease in seconds, leaving the surface dry and receptive for impregnation.
What LEV Does
LEV is a neutral, solvent-based cleaner for natural stone, ceramics, and concrete. The pH-7.0 formula breaks van der Waals bonds in oils, waxes, silicone and fresh adhesive residues, lifting them into solution without adding water. Fast evaporation (95 % gone in 4 minutes at 20 °C) leaves no film that could block subsequent treatments.
When to Use
- Degreasing a polished kitchen marble worktop before sealing - use undiluted (1 : 0).
- Quick cleaning of rough basalt on a building site - use undiluted, wipe after 3 minutes.
- Removing silicone haze from porcelain mosaics in a shower - use undiluted, agitate with white pad.
- Surface prep for stain-protection impregnation on concrete pavers - use undiluted, allow 5 minutes.
- Spot removal of oily footprints during general cleaning of a shopping mall floor - spray, wipe immediately.
How to Apply
- Spray LEV undiluted onto the dry surface at 40 ml/m².
- Allow 2-5 minutes dwell; keep wet by re-mist if needed.
- Work with a microfiber cloth or white nylon pad until the residue loosens.
- Wipe off dissolved contaminants; rinse with clear water only if a sealer is not applied immediately.
One litre covers 10-15 m², depending on texture. The surface is ready for the next treatment as soon as it looks dry, typically after 5 minutes.
Surface Compatibility
LEV scores excellent on low-porosity stones like basalt, granite, concrete, and ceramic because the solvent carrier cannot etch or swell these substrates. Neutral chemistry avoids the acid bite that damages Mohs-3 stones, so even acid-sensitive marble tolerates short contact-always test first. Do not use on solvent-sensitive plastics, varnished wood, or acrylic bathtubs.
Choosing the Right Product
For deep mineral dirt, choose MN Power-Clean described under general cleaning. For long-term oil and water resistance after the surface is dry, finish with an impregnator from the stain-protection section.
Pro Tips
- Warm the room to 18-25 °C; higher temperature accelerates solvent action by up to 30 %.
- Fold your cloth into quarters and switch sides after 0.5 m² to avoid re-depositing grease.
- Before applying a solvent-based sealer, run a fingertip test: if no smudge appears, the stone is residue-free and ready.

Frequently asked questions
Can LEV be used on marble without etching it?
Yes. Neutral pH and solvent action mean no acid attack. Test a small 10 × 10 cm area first to confirm appearance.
How much LEV do I need for a 30 m² granite floor?
At 10–15 m² per litre you will need 2–3 L for one pass.
Does LEV leave any residue that could block an impregnator?
No. 95 % of the carrier evaporates within 4 minutes, leaving a residue-free, bond-ready surface.
Is LEV safe on porcelain kitchen tiles?
Yes, porcelain is solvent-stable and rates excellent. Spray, dwell 2 minutes, wipe clean.
