From installation to daily maintenance: everything you need to know
Initial Care (After Installation)
When: After grout curing (5-7 days)
- Remove cement haze with Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover diluted 1:3
- Rinse thoroughly
- Allow to dry completely
- For colour enhancement: Lithofin KF Clinker Oil
- For invisible protection: Lithofin KF Protective Impregnator
Products needed: Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover, Lithofin KF Clinker Oil, Lithofin KF Protective Impregnator
Daily Maintenance
Frequency: Weekly
- Sweep to remove grit
- Mop with Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner diluted in water
Products: Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner
Do NOT:
- Avoid strong acid cleaners (can affect colour)
- Do not use wax-based products unless specifically desired
Periodic Deep Cleaning
Frequency: Every 6-12 months
- Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:10
- Apply, scrub, rinse

Protection & Sealing
Re-seal every: Every 2-5 years
- Deep clean, dry completely
- Re-apply chosen finish (Clinker Oil for colour, Protective Impregnator for invisible protection)

Troubleshooting
Faded colour
Lithofin KF Clinker Oil to restore warm natural tones.
Efflorescence
Brush off, clean with KF Cement Residue Remover diluted 1:5. Common on new clinker - usually resolves in first year.
Greasy residue from wrong cleaner
Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner undiluted to strip residue. Rinse well.
